Yuri Suzuki‘s “Amateur Music Production” is a live event that recently took place in Luxembourg as a part of Coalition of amateurs exhibition at Mudam. During one afternoon, the music of three punk bands was played, recorded and immediately pressed on vynils (which are now on sale in the museum shop). More photos here.

L’artista americano Jon Scanlan ha pubblicato una guida intitolata: DIY, or How To Kill Yourself Anywhere in the World for Under $399. Ossia come costruirsi una bara da soli utilizzando pezzi di mobilio acquistati in un qualunque punto IKEA del globo. Le istruzioni sono dettagliate e accompagnate da tavole illustrate. Guest star del libro la piccola AnnLee, personaggio manga giapponese concepito in origine come comparsa in un videogioco e divenuta poi star dell’arte contemporanea. La bambina è infatti protagonista dell’opera collettiva No Ghost, Just a Shell, sul quale hanno lavorato ben 16 artisti. Una delle bare IKEA era infatti destinata proprio a lei, come degno finale del progetto.
